The Ketchikan Experience

Whether you’re an avid fisherman or you’ve never been on a boat before, there is something for everyone here at Anglers Adventures & Outfitters. The captain and owner, Brian Ringeisen, has over 26 years of guiding experience around Ketchikan and also served our country as a U.S. Coast Guard for 25 years. We are more than experienced and equipped to handle all of your fishing trip needs. We offer fishing trips for half days, full days and even multi day fishing if requested. Southeast Alaska has a lot of beauty to offer…and a lot of fish as well!

Our Charter Boat

Hopping onto the F/V Sierra Dawn is always a delight. Our boat is a 28’ Bayline Trophy. Comfortably fishing 4-6 people, this boat has a raised cabin that is enclosed and heated. Additionally, this boat has a private bathroom, new electronics, a chart plotter, GPS, depth sounders, and all the bells and whistles for downriggers and rod holders. Our boat is fully equipped with everything you need for a lifetime experience! We chose this boat as it is as “authentic Alaskan fishing” as it gets!

Sport Fishing Options

Depending on the year, we have an assortment of fish species that we target while on a charter. If you are looking for a specific type of fish, we can definitely accommodate! Our typical runs include:

● Salmon
● Halibut
● Rockfish
● Black & Grey Cod

Even within their species, there are different types of fish. Ketchikan is known as the “salmon capital of the world” and typically, they don’t disappoint. For our spring and early summer months, King Salmon charters happen to be our most popular. If you are looking for that trophy winning Halibut, also known as the world’s largest flatfish, come charter with us from June-August. No matter what type of fish you are after, our captain and anglers have the experience to position you for some monumental opportunities.
